ABOUT

When the music-driven indie feature Original Sound needed an audio team that could do it all. Compose songs, score, and handle every layer of audio post the filmmakers turned to Flavorlab.

WHAT SETS IT APART

Starring Laura Marano and David Lambert, and directed by Gregory Jbara, Original Sound is a Brooklyn-set story about songwriting, collaboration, and what happens when music gets stolen. Therefore it demanded a sound team as creative as its premise. Hence Composers and music producers Erik Blicker and Glenn Schloss wrote original songs crafted specifically for the film’s characters and story. Collaborating closely with the cast before a single frame was shot. Re-recording mixer and supervising sound editor Brian Quill and sound effects editor Eric Stern handled the full audio post pipeline — dialogue, sound design, mixing and more. “From composing to the final mix, Flavorlab delivered a seamless, end-to-end audio experience that brought Original Sound to life.
