School is officially back in session! Last year, Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, wanted to know why small businesses succeed. He set off on a quest. He met owners and analyzed companies grown from the ground up. Business Schooled was born as a result. In season two, our fearless leader is Soraya Darabi. Darabi is the co-founder of Zady & Foodspotting, and partner at Trail Mix Ventures. Like Alexis, she hits the road to meet eight entrepreneurs. Each business has graduated from its early start-up status and is moving on to bigger things. Ultimately, the question remains: What makes a small business successful?
Flavorlab Sound provided full service audio post for the podcast. Finance company, Synchrony, called on content agency, Giant Spoon, and Best Case Studios to join forces for the series. In November, both agencies worked from our New York office. From start to finish, Flavorlab created the project in-house. Soraya recorded voice over in Lab 2. During edit and mix, the team took to the studio for real time collaboration. Eight episodes and several promos later, the series was wrapped.
