CASE STUDY PBS KIDS: The Civility Project

OPPORTUNITY:   Compose Music and Lyrics to songs about civility to teach people about the government and civic duties that will be animated to the song.

BACKGROUND; STRATEGY: This unique opportunity evolved from our work with PBS KIDS. Senior Creative Director, Matthew Kennedy’s inspiration to develop 4 videos as part of a series of civics education..

Under Kennedy’s superb direction, with lyricist Joe Macken, Flavorlab Score set out to create music that would educate and connect with the core demo of 3-6 year olds.

RESULTS: Interstitials that air on all PBS platforms that educate and entertain.  Working with Matthew Kennedy was simply amazing – we had a true collaboration with him every step of the way and it was a privilege to help him fulfill his brilliant creative vision!
