Flavorlab Sound and Gramercy Tech teamed up to create a 360 video experience. Rappers Eno Noziroh and ChaunSAY Mackin’ perform their song “It’s Real,” back by Flavorlab co-founder Glenn Schloss on drums.
Flavorlab Sound was honored to work on sound design for After Everything, a dark comedy coming to theaters this Friday, October 12th.
Flavorlab’s music licensing division, Flavorlab Producer’s Toolbox, recently signed a co-publishing agreement with Tremorland, a growing music catalog based out of Los Angeles, California.
Flavorlab had the pleasure of mixing the audio for “Active Measures,” a fiery political documentary that attempts to unravel the “Russia story” by leading viewers through a “trail of money, real estate, mob connections, and on the record confessions to expose an insidious plot that leads directly back to The White House.”
PBS approached Flavorlab Score to create a custom music package for their “Best of Indies” series, highlighting the best independent documentaries released through PBS. Jeffrey Hughes, Creative Services Director for PBS, asked for underlying theme music that could be adapted to fit the aesthetic of each documentary showcased. In this way, the music is the glue helping to unify the works together into a cohesive final product.
Food Network’s newest series, Reality Cupcakes, brings viewers into the world of Ashley Foxen: a NYC cupcake connoisseur known for her visually-deceptive cake creations. Foxen, who started Reality Bites Cupcakes in 2012, teases tastebuds with cupcakes modeled after other popular foods – burgers, sushi, pizza, and even pastrami sandwiches. The new show follows Ashley’s business on a series of cupcake adventures through New York City. Anne Neczypor, post-production supervisor on the series, reached out to Flavorlab to provide the audio mix for the show as well as its accompanying promo spots.

Joan Baker and Rudy Gaskins are co-founders of the Society of Voice Arts & Sciences (SOVAS), and creators / co-hosts of the podcast series “Get Out There”: a fun, inspiring, and informative series designed to motivate listeners to reach for their most audacious dreams. Flavorlab worked with the couple on all things audio for the podcast, recording and mixing each episode live in the studio as well as composing the original theme music and intro audio reel.
